• Where: Gulf Oaks Raceway Saucier MS/ Moore Park Lafayette, LA
• Goal: Revive Sprint racing in the Gulf Coast area.
• Type: Asphalt Sprint Racing, ¼ mile Road Course
• Directions: To Gulfoaks From I-10 Exit 34B go north on US 49 for 11.3 miles to a left on W. Adams Rd. proceed .6 miles to a right on old Hwy. 49. Go approximately 40 yds. and turn left down dirt road to track.
To Moore Park From I-10 in Lafayette take Exit 101 North on Hwy. 182 to 1st right into Moore Park. Past Soccer and baseball fields
• Entry Fees: $25.00
• Gate Fee: $10.00 Awards: 100% Payback for top 3 (if over 10 entries top 5) $100.00 Bonus cash will be added to each class with 5 or more entries and $250.00 will be added to classes with 10 or more entries , Sponsored by E & B Lawn Care of Long Beach MS, C & C Racing Promotions of Hammond LA., and Stefancik and Co.CPA of Pensacola FL, Currently seeking sponsors for all classes for the Sept. race.
• Format: 2- 8 Heat races and a 12 lap feature
• Classes:
1. Jr. Briggs Restricted, Age 7-12, 275#Minimum, .500 WKA Restrictor
2. Jr. Briggs Age 13 – 15, 320# Minimum,Unrestricted,
3. Sr. Briggs Ages 16 and Above, 350# Minimum
4. 80 cc Shifter Age 13 and above 350# Minimum
5. Yamaha KT 100 age 13 and Above 350# Minimum. Unrestricted , open pipe, clutch drive only,
6. 125cc Shifter Ages 16 and above 385# minimum
• Open tires for all classes,
• Kid karts Ages 4 – 7 are free
• Engine Specs: WKA 2005 All competitors subject to Post qualify and race tech no matter of the position you finish in.
• Concessions: Food and drinks are being sold at track
• Gates Open: 8:00 AM
• Registration: 8:00 -9:30
• Practice: 8:00 – 11:45 No practicing until registered in a class. Practice by class only.
• Drivers meeting 12:00
• Qualify: 12:15 Races to follow.
