The Race Car
We specialize in Spec Racer Fords only.

The Spec Racer Ford is a single seat, open cockpit, rear-engine race car. The motor is a 1.9 liter Ford engine. All engines in Spec Racer Fords are produced by Roush Racing (A premier NASCAR team) and are tested by the SCCA to insure performance and equality among all race cars. The motors are sealed so tampering is not a factor. All race cars are identical and only chassis adjustments are allowed. The focus is on the drivers' abilities and chassis set-up. This equality in race cars, makes for a very intense and competitive race every weekend.

Spec Racer Ford Pro Series
There are few relationships that out rival the love for an automobile. This relationship creates a strong and loyal base of SCCA fans. The Ford Spec Racer Pro Series is usually run on the same weekends as the Trans-Am Series and enjoys the same fans.  The Trans-am series entertained 1.3 million spectators making it the fourth most watched motor sports series in North America.  The Ford Spec Racer Pro Series consists of nine races across the United States.  This provides excellent national marketing coverage.

The Spec Racer Pro Series has been a stepping stone for some of today’s top drivers.  Robbie Buhl and Gene Harrington(Indy Car), Dorsey Schroeder(SCCA Trans AM, World Sports Car/Can-Am), and David Murray(IMSA World Sports Cars).  In the past few years a few changes have been made to intensify competition, such as the Ford manufactured motor which gave each car an increase of 12% more horsepower over the Renault motor.  This also makes the series more interesting now that racing speeds reach 135 mph.

Driver qualifications

We cater to all levels of drivers. From the beginner driver taking his first racing school, to the pro driver competing in the Spec Racer Ford Pro Series which is televised.
